We are hosting a welcome back block party on August 13th from 4:30-6:30. This event is open to all Mead families but please note that adults must accompany their students to this event.
Enter through door 5 (afterschool event entrance) near the tennis courts where a staff member will welcome you and you can pick up your event passport. (Completed passports will be put in a raffle for some Mead swag!)
In the cafeteria you will be able to drop off payment and registration form(s) for an optional milk fee, yearbook, and/or optional Chromebook Insurance. You can also turn in completed physical forms and update the nurse with regard to your student’s medical information. Our PTA will be there to share information about the upcoming school year and you will also find updates about our fall sports.
In the gym, you will be able to pick up a copy of your student's schedule, which you will need to obtain locker information as well as receive your Mead information folder.
During your walk around the building, make sure you stop by your student’s locker to drop-off school supplies, decorate the inside of their locker (make sure there is a picture of the family in there 😊), and practice opening the locker as many times as needed. We then encourage you to walk the hallways of Mead to find your student's classrooms and complete your passport.
There will be a sweet treat to enjoy during your visit as well as outdoor games (weather permitting).
Prior to this day, please log into the Infinite Campus Portal to view your student’s schedule so you can purchase their school supplies to drop off in their locker during your Mead and Greet visit. Supplies can also be brought on the first day of school.
