On Friday, February 28, we will be hosting two great opportunities for our Mustangs:

• The 8th grade students will be taking a field trip to Harper College as part of our commitment to establishing the foundation for College and Career Readiness. We believe that exposure to post-secondary opportunities will positively impact our students’ mindset and instill habits necessary for academic success before their High School transition. We want to do all that we can, in partnership with you, to make our children as well-rounded and future oriented as possible. • On this same day, students from Conant HS will be visiting Mead to meet our 7th grade students in a “Q&A” session focused on what to expect in high school.  We believe this exposure to high school opportunities ahead for our seventh grade Mustangs will inspire them to use today to get ready for tomorrow!
